Can the EVF viewfinder on the EX1 be removed for cleaning, I have some large dust particles in the viewer. I see on the back there is a release button but did not want to push my luck anybody know
Of course you can but it may not be enough. If there are particles inside the evf holder, you will have to remove the 4 screws after you removed the magnifier and then clean the interior, which is easy as well.
I have ex1r not ex1 but they are similar i guess?! The push button underneath lets you remove the magnifier. Then you'll see the evf, protected by a piece of glass, attached with 4 screws. You need to remove them to get to the evf.
