Camtree vs movcam fs700 rig weight and quality difference

Hi Guys,

Ive been tossing up between getting the Movcam fs700 rig or the camtree fs700 version for a fraction of the price for quite a while now. Just wondering if anyone has compared the weight and quality difference between the two. I know there was a similar thread posted a while back that the camtree rig only weighs 3kg including the camera, but am having a hard time finding info comparing the two rigs side by side. Anyone have any experience with these rigs and can shed some light on this??

I tried the Camtree. I couldn't imagine a worse build. It's heavy, grips suck, cheap everywhere. I couldn't even allow myself to sell it to someone, i would have felt too guilty. I strongly vote for anything but Camtree.

Movcam, from what i hear is actually alright. Tilta is good too.
