camera trouble

i have had to reshoot this scene im working on 3 times now because that the color changes from take to take. it goes from bright to very dark. why does it do this. i am not using auto controls either. i set the white balance, gain to low, and iris open. how do i get the camera to shoot the same always?

also one other issue, i had this one shot were the camera was on a crane looking up in the sky through the trees. then it slowly comes down. well this shot was flickering. like the sunlight was going on and off slightly. why was it doing this? was it because of the sun. it was a bright sun by the way. and the sun wasnt directly in the shot.

for the second one, it seems pretty much like common sense as to why the sun is flickering. unless it was shot in the winter when all the leaves had fallen off of the tree, the camera would be moving in and out of shadows created by leaves, and when the camera is picking up the sun the image will be washed out because of the amount of light given off.

I sometimes have the same issue.
Its usually just the weather, so if you have any lights
those would work.
Lighting is very important.
