Camera Stabilizing System

sorry, Mike, you had to spend 1600$ to try it :( Proper stabilizer systems start at around 10 000 euro, with the capacity for hpx500.

I work with hpx500 myself, and two years ago i bought this german stabilizer:
http://www.abc-products.de/german_09/gforce_pro_cn09.html

it's price is around 11 000 EUR+VAT, of course, it's not the tiffen, but it works for the price and you can't go wrong with german quality.

11,000 EUR+VAT.........How much is that in US dollars?

thanks, Paul

I noticed that it is for up to 8kg. My 500 kitted up comes to 10kg. How do you find it with yours?

That's around 14 000$.

Well, it depeds on what you're hooking up on hpx500. When i work with stabilizer, i take off viewfinder, battery (camera gets power from stabilizer's sled), basically leave it naked,
body + lens. of course, if you need wireless remote control with wireless video transmitter,
impossible to fit into 8 kg.

that's why i'm selling my Gforce pro cn, to upgrade to gforce advanced, up to 14 kg.
