Camera Playback of HD contents

Hi guys!

If I offload P2 cards directly from the cam to an external HD. Will I be able to playback the contents of the HD from the cam? Will the HD contents appear on the thumnails view? Thus being able to playback the HD contents through the component output?

I'm looking for a way to screen my footage (1080 component output) after a days work. Using P2 cards.

The only way from FCP would be to "print to video" back to the camera and record it onto the cards, and then play from there.
 
Thanks Barry! Sorry I posted the same question on different threads.

So I guess FS-100 users experience the same? Cannot playback material through component outputs? I guess Matrox MXO is my only option for reviewing offloaded images in the field.
