I am working on a small scale festival based in Basingstoke, Hampshire, in early July, and require someone with a DVX camera and the skills to operate it for the one day. The event is Blissfields (website link below) and is happening on the 6/7th July. The event is being recorded for output to the internet and possibly DVD. I am only filming the Saturday 7th on the main stage with other acts appearing on the second stage. I hoped to use about 4 or 5 cameras, however, 2 people have pulled out due to student commitments.
As this is a charity event, i would only be able to offer travel expenses, however, you will be fed and watered, plus your help would be greatly appreciated and it is a fantastic opportunity to work on an event hosting about 1500 people with a very friendly atmosphere. The majority of the people working on the technical side of the event are BBC staff including myself, so it would be a chance to work alongside broadcast professionals. You will be credited on the video.
If you are interested and are based in the UK, please email me on djdave3k@hotmail.com or text/call me on 07851 115 882. If you are interested, please contact me ASAP!
Many Thanks
