Camera on All night?

This may be a really basic simple answer, but is it terrible to leave your camera on all night?

I left it on for about a good 15 hours yesterday and I'm wondering if its going to go haywire

If your using it, then no its fine to leave on. If it just sitting there, not being used, then thats a different story. The camera is smart enough to protect itself (for at least head wear) by shutting down the tape transport if its unused for a period of time, but the CCFT backlights on both the flip out LCD and EVF don't have that same capability, so you are just waisting away their finite life expectancy.

I seriously doubt that this little event will make your camera go "haywire" but regardless, it isn't a good thing to do.

Yeah, I didn't think it'd kill the camera, but I was wondering what if there would be anything to worry about if this became a problem for me in the future.
