camera mounting this mic?

Nope.

A hypercardioid mic has too wide an angle of acceptance, and a considerable rear lobe of acceptance as well. This will pick up tons of noise not only from the camera itself but from the person operating the camera. On-camera is really the least effective place to put a mic. That said, a shotgun mic, properly shock-mounted, will help keep sounds of/behind the camera at bay.
