camera is connected to my mac book pro by firewire and not showing up! what plug in?

Hey Guy Im having a hard time getting my P2 cards showing up when my camera
is connected to my mac book pro by firewire. What plug ins do i need? Its HPX 170.:2vrolijk_08:
 
And go into the menus and change PC MODE to "USB Device", then put the camera in PC mode using the Mode button (go to MCR mode, then HOLD DOWN the mode button for another three seconds to enter PC mode).
 
Not sure what the deal is with people suggesting USB transfer as if a FW connection doesn't work. I have never had any issues whatsoever using FW booting direct to CPU with either my Mac Pro or MBPro, with a external drive connected to CPU, or a stand alone FW drive transfer. Are folks really having FW issues or is this a myth? Obviously USB works and there is no reason not to use it, but in my experience, FW works perfectly.
