GH4 Camera Info not visible on ext monitor

Hi --
Something I did made my GH4 camera settings (Codec, record indicator, lapsed time on take, etc, etc) not visible on my external monitor (connected via the hdmi.) Of course the settings are visible on the flip out monitor.
How do I switch it back on?

You would think the display button would do it, but it's not so.

Go into Motion Picture settings, page 4 at the bottom HDMI Record Out, select and you have the option to have information sent or not.
 
I tried this and it didn't solve the issue. To be clear, I am getting an image on my HDMI monitor, but it's "clean."
I need to be able to see the same info that's on the flip out LCD (camera settings, FPS, etc.)

Incidentally, when on page 4 of the motion picture settings, I do see that there's a page 2, but I cannot scroll to it. Not sure if there's a reason for this.

Then check your other HDMI settings. I don't have my camera here but I'll try and look later.
 
Thanks for checking later. I cannot seem to find it anywhere!
No matter what I do, I just get a clean signal to the monitor.
 
Solution found!
For whatever reason my camera was set to 10bit output and did not want to switch to 8... finally when I got it to, I got my displays back.

That was going to be my next line of inquiry. I'm in the middle of a move and easily distracted.

Glad you got it sorted out.
