Camera Hours Meter problem

Hello everybody, This is Mazhar. recently I have gone through a problem with my cameras 'hour meter'. My cameras running meter was 425 hrs now automatically it shows as 025 hrs. the technical person who did servicing said he didnt touch the meter section. The same thing happened to my colleague with his camera. I would like to know how it'll happen??

There have been some problems reported recently about this.

It sounds like a lot of people have the problem after the camera is left in an extreme condition like heat, cold, sand, etc.

Not really sure how it happens, but I recommend you don't worry about the problem because it will sell for a lot more used.

Not cool. I was looking to pick up a used one to add to the ever growing stash, actually. Now I'm a little worried about it...

How easy is it for people to turn back the meter, anyway? should I be worried abut this type of thing when looking?
