Camera flash effect

Hey everybody,

What is the best way to make a camera flash effect between two clip. The first clip is video and the second one is a still picture and I want the picture to appear with a flash effect (as a transition). Anyone who knows how to do this. Thank you in advance!

these are free plugs. there is a transition in the suite called "flashframe". make it 2 frames long and there ya go.

The other, and most basic method is to use a dip-to-color dissolve. Set the color to white, and adjust the transition time to taste.

flashframe is better. dip to white does just that. all white. flashframe retains some of the image, like a real flash would....

and its free!! why wouldn't you use it?
