What would be the most common reason for a video camera to eat tapes? I'm thinking dirty tape transport ie pinch rollers. I ask because a friend just called and said this was happening on their JVC compact c cam. I said it sounded like it needed the rollers cleaned. I guess it could just be a bad tape though.
