Camera Detection/Transfer of Footage to Laptop

Re: Camera Detection/Transfer of Footage to Laptop

I have seen about 15-20 coming back into service because of that connecting procedure. This is quite a number, and beleive me it's not easy and cheap to fix.

NZ
I'm guessing the 100 and 100a are both affected?

Positive, since they both have the same 1394 interface. It's not the only firewire device that's subject to "lightning" :o when it comes to connect-disconnect. I've seen it happen in the past with other devices too.
