Camera configuration

I am setting up my camera for a documentary I will be shooting in the next 3 weeks. I am trying to not use a rig per se as I need to keep the weight of my kit as low as possible. I will be using the set-up on a tripod and a monopod, and won't be using any rails mounted accessories. The kit I need to mount will be:

D7000
Rode NTG1 on Rycote Universal Kit
SmallHD DP4
Litepanel MicroPlus
Beachtek DXA-SLR/Tascam DR-100

I am looking to get it as compact as possible. The EVF mount options are what I am struggling with at the moment. If anybody has any set-ups or ideas I would be most appreciative.

If you want to mount an EVF, you can look to get a triple hotshoe mount. Something like this, there are better options http://gadget.brando.com/1-to-3-triple-hot-shoe-adaptor_p01400c073d003.html. You can then use an articulating arm to hotshoe adapter. You will want a high quality triple adapter for the weight issue.

Cheers PRP, that's an option but it still looks like it would be very secure, anybody else?

I know there is one that looks like a better option that is not as wiry. It is more a solid block. But I don't think you can mount all of those on camera at once without that or a rod system.

Of Course now I cant Find it. Grr. But I did some research, and here you go. The 2 Cheap Options I found was a DIY Fig rig Cage here http://cheesycam.com/test-diy-dslr-cage-fig-rig-stabilizer/ which would give you the mounting points needed, or even cheaper, this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sima-Video-...aultDomain_0&hash=item484392c752#ht_739wt_955 adds 2 cold shoes and a handle, for 2, for a mic, LED light, and an arm for the monitor.
