im looking for a new camera backpack...

-preferably waterproof/resistant
-space for 2 HVX size cameras + fisheye lens and batteries
- room for two tripods
- well padded and comfortable
- well made..

what do you recommend that is along those lines?

thanks!

I'd recommend a good chiropractor.

Seriously, that's a tall order for any one backpack to handle. Maybe a Kata might be up to it, but I'd doubt it.

I carried around a vx1000, hvx200, and two fisheyes along with batteries, tapes and chargers in a LowePro computrekker.

It might be hard to fit 2 hvx's but maybe the step up could.

I was looking at the CompuTrekker for my DVX, but the CompuTrekker didn't seem quite deep enough... but your HVX fit OK?

I've had a cheap Amvona bag for awhile, but it's seen much much better days. I suppose loading it up with the DVX, fisheye, batteries, DSLR, lenses, flashes, light and Glidecam 4000 was a bit much after awhile. haha

hvx on its side, but it still worked great. if it were right side up it would have to be a very deep bag.
