calling all letus flip users

I am wondering if someone would be so kind as to upload some footage of the letus flip enhanced, under various shutter speeds.

i hear there is a problem with higher shutter speeds, where the grain becomes visible, but am curious to see what exactly the effect is. I have used static adapters and know what it resembles when the grain is static, but a vibrating grain with a high shutter speed, i would imagine, would not be identical.

could someone shoot comparison footage, perhaps a pan across homes, with the sky visible at these shutter speeds?

1/48th ( off ) 1/60th, 1/120th and 1/250th? Thanks very much guys.

I second that, if anyone has grabs or footage that would be great!

I hope the images aren't grainy, because I was going to get a letus flip

Thanks

i am sorry for being rude. And I know you are seeking answers for the letus, which i dont have. But seriously, get the sgpro, it doesnt have any problems with shutter speeds, and if you ar doing a serious jobs for someone, you will earn back the cost of the sgpro very fast, and it delievers like a mofo The sgpro rocks ass and is totally worth the extra buck. It doesnt have the errors others have.

Well i do appreciate the beauty of the sgpro, and it was my favourite adaptor for a long time. That was until i heard about the Letus extreme and economy - I mean its just so practical: flipped image, 0.5 stops of light loss, along with an image that actually has amazing edge to edge sharpness....hard to argue with that. I'm personally probably going to put down on a letus economy soon

yeah, i posted this thread prior to the extreme, so this question no longer applies. Extreme > all other's ;)

How about a pro/con chart for each?

PROS | CONS
----------------------------------
SgPro R3
Brevis CF1L
Letus35 FE
Letus Extreme
RedRock M2

well, the extreme is the sharpest adapter out there for the price. But loses more light and has an upside down image.

It has been said again and again, but i will reiterate, the extreme is in a league of its own.

Is this what you meant to say? Because the Extreme is of course right-side-up and loses extremely little light...

I just got mine recently and i love it. There is very little light loss. And there is som grain but only in really low light situations. And if you're using this in filmmaking, you should be taking time to light your scenes properly. If you do that, then there are no problems. The Letus flip is amazing, and I'm so glad i got it. You don't even need support rods, which saves you a load of cash. I hope to get some grabs up for you guys. Check back in the next few hours.
