Hey y'all,
My buddy and I went out yesterday to the Rancho Palos Verdes area in very southern Los Angeles, and I took my DVX along for the ride. And I figured, what the hell, everyone loves seeing footage from the coastline (or at least I do). So, I decided to throw some clips together for ya to check out.
A couple of things to note before watching this:
I didn't take the tripod along. It was mostly just me riding and shouting "stop so I can shoot this". Anyways, it's all handheld, and some of the shots when I'm zoomed in get quite shaky, so I apologize for that, but you'll just have to deal with it. Also, nothing's been color corrected.
Also, I put a song in to kind of accompany the clips, but I spent a total of like 5 minutes on sound mixing, so in the middle of the song, where I just cut & copied, and did some transitioning, it sounds really shitty.
Other than that, enjoy. I was behind the camera, and my friend Phil is the one in several of the shots. We went down to the rocks and walked out on them (VERY scary when you have a $3500 video camera in your hand).
The file is 7.74 Mb. Enjoy.
