I like 'em. Especially the second and third images.
I wonder if you could counteract grain by turning up the sharpening and the coring together.... Maybe that would produce a freakin ugly picture though. Anyone try this before?
you can reuse the tape, and as long as it was handled and stored properly it will probably be ok, BUT i would strongly encourage you to NOT use the tapes for anything necessary or vital at all.
reused tapes have a much higher dropout percentage, and are often subject to numerous glitches caused by them. so if your just screwing around, or testing stuff out its not a big deal, but i wouldnt use it on any even semi-serious project.
iaml - "you can reuse the tape" ??? Comment for another post?
John - Talk about tricky. There was some amazing moon light reflecting off of the water. I played with a bunch of settings trying to capture it and couldn't find a good mix.
donbarzini - No gain. I've found it adds too much noise.
Thanks for the comments everyone. I'll be posting a short time lapse of the sunset today or tomorrow... I can already hear 'em now "oh no, not another time lapse sunset"
