Calibration Test charts

Does anyone know where you can download a PDF or high rez color chart for syncing some cameras?

I know there are some out there, but I don't want to pay 200-500 dollars for a chart. I have found a resolution chart, but I am looking for a grey scale and/or color chart.

I am wanting to match some Sony's with an HVX. And I would like to have one to adjust and tweak my settings with.

Thanks!

Not sure what you mean by a high rez chart, but you might try a Macbeth color chart They are very reasonable.

I don't see why you would download a color chart or gray card. You will never be able to print it the same as a real one.

True, at least with the type of printer most people have. But for many applications, reproducing the colors accurately so they match the RGB values indicated on the back of the charts isn't important -- I think all Bryon wants to do is match the different cameras so they come up with the same (or very similar) colors, allowing them to be intercut without doing too much color CC in post.

I agree that getting a Gretag Macbeth ColorChecker (which can be had for about $80) is a good investment, but in a pinch, one could create something similar in Photoshop.

Actually, that is exactly what I did. I made my own and am having it printed up. You are correct in saying I don't need the exact charts, as I'm not testing the cameras, I am just needing a color spetrum to line up some cameras and match them on.

The chart actually turned out pretty well (better than I expected) and will be about 20 inches by 24 inches.
