I am having some stuttering in 100ft BNC cables transferring 1080i SDI output into a TriCaster. These are old cables from NTSC days. What are the specs or particular model of cable that I need to carry SDI, 1080i output 150 ft?
And while I'm asking, suppose i wanted to output 4K UHD signal 150 ft. What specs would I need.
Some of these older cables work at 100ft but if I add a link, often, they start stuttering. There are newer BNC cables designed for higher bandwidth so I am investigating a purchase. I will need four. I expect to pay at least $140 for each cable capable of HD, but I am wondering if for a little more, I'd be good fro UHD and 4K.
What are the recommendations?
