Cable Cam for FS100

Hi everyone,

I am putting together a cable cam for the FS100. I need to figure out the best way to move the camera over a wireless transmitter. I am thinking of using the Kessler REVOLUTION head with ORACLE controller. Only thing is, I don't know how to make this work wireless.

So here's my question, does anyone have a better way to control pan/tilt or does someone know how to make the Kessler set up work with wireless controls?

The head needs to be able to take about 5kg or 11lbs... Oh, and the range is 100m or 320 feet :)

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I'm very intrigued by this and definitely want to see what results you get! have you sent an e-mail off to Eric from Kessler ?? he is as about a close to a genius as I have seen these days when it comes to camera gear and especially with wireless stuff, I am sure he could help you out.

Well I love Kessler products, but I hate trying to get information out of them. I don't think they have ever answered the phone when I've tried to call.

They sent a pretty short reply just saying "this product doesn't support wireless"

Proaim on the other hand said that they would design a wireless box and get back to me with a quote and a finished product. That's what I call service!

In the meantime, I have an RC geek friend who is going to make a wireless transmitter/receiver. He said it's pretty simple and should take about a day to build.

I would still prefer to buy it as that's the easiest solution, but if it's half the price to make it ourselves, I guess I'll go with that.
