Normally I would look at something like an AudioTechnica 875R which is made for this type of use, but the following video has me curious about this Azden mic. ( normally I would not touch anything made by Azden )
They are kind of long to be mounted on a camera, and they may not make much difference over a less expensive shotgun mic. ( cameras are often the worst place to mount a mic, but sometimes you have no choice )
