"C" Settings with Native 24p NOT CHECKED- still can't play back!

Hey everyone. I updated my firmware using ptools v3.37 with the "C" settings with Native 24p not checked on a Patriot 16GB Class 10 SDHC card and I STILL can't play back the footage in camera! I even went into the Playback menu and switched to AVCHD playback and I still get the "THIS MOTION IMAGE CANNOT BE PLAYED" message. I thought the hack was fixed so you could play back the 1080p AVCHD movie with "C" settings? Am I doing something wrong here?

Did you change any audio settings in Ptool? If so, there's your answer. Don't touch the audio, thats what has caused failures for other people regarding in camera playback.

Yup, that fixed it! I also noticed that if I upload the firmware with Native 24p checked, then I still get errors and the camera stops recording and freezes up BUT, if I upload the firmware hack without Native 24p checked, so far, with my 16GB Class 10 Patriot SDHC card, everything is running nice and smooth. And that's with these settings:

Video Bitrate = 50000000
Overall Bitrate = 52000000
Limiting Bitrate = 70000000

I changed the bit rate to these settings based solely on the beauty of Eric Thompson's "Red Rock" video:

Amazing! I am really loving this camera!
