c mount lenses?

I shot about half of this on with the c-mount 35mm 1.7 you can get on ebay. It worked really well with the feel of the video

I have to agree with others, I tried to pursue the holy grail of c-mount lenses and for the most part they are not high quality enough for serious work. But for the price they're not bad as something to have in your kit to play around with. The 25mm Pentax has ugly swirly bokeh, and tends to be softer on one side than the other. I had to modify my adapter by bending it slightly in order to correct this. It would be OK in a pinch for low light. You can crop some of the offending corners in post. The Panasonic 25mm f/1.4 costs 6 times as much and you really do get what you pay for.

I know this is an AF100 forum, but some of us have the GH2. The c-mount lenses work really well in the Ext. Teleconverter mode in the GH2. But you are giving up the "film look" in this mode, and there is a hit in noise. In bright light, it looks great!

The best one is the 35mm f/1.7. It has full coverage and decent image quality across the board. For the price it's definitely worth having in your kit. I took this photo with the 35mm f/1.7:

I've moved on from the c-mount lenses completely and I'm adapting the B4 2/3" video lenses. The B4 video lenses are amazing, have full coverage with the 2x extender on and are 100% parfocal! The results are really professional.
I have a quantity of B4 to micro 4/3 adapters on order which should be coming in pretty soon.

I will post some footage shot with the B4 lenses.

I have an old C-mount Zeiss zoom .. fully zoomed out, it doesn't cover the sensor, but if you zoom in about 10mm, it does.

It has a very cool look to it .. but I wouldn't use it except as a specialty look. The other issue with C-mount glass is infinite
focus (depending on adapter and lens).
