Hello. i'm considering buying a used Nikon d90 for $800 (body only).
I think the price is fair, but is there anything i should know about buying used?
Warranty? Will anything break? or are dSLRs pretty sturdy?

Any info would help, im trying to buy tonight.

THANK YOU

I got my nikon refurbed D90 from only $650 shipped. A used one for that price? Thats BS. For used i would aim somewhere between $6-700

You can call j&r photo right now and get a nikon refurbed for $700 shipped

jon!

I would find out how many shutter actuations there are on the body. Anything over 10,000 shouldn't be purchased IMO for that price...

Also be aware of the rear LCD any damage? Other than that its built pretty sturdy.

Well, if I were going to sell my two D90 cameras, I would aim for $550-650 each. That's only fair I think and what I would imagine I'd be able to get for them anyway. If they tossed in the stock 18-105 lens for $800, then you should consider it, otherwise look for a better deal.

NOTE: I AM NOT SELLING MY D90 CAMERAS, JUST USING THEM AS AN EXAMPLE!
