Hey...

To everyone who is wondering where to get your DVX from, I would have to say EVS is the place to go. It seems like they always have it in stock, and you never have to worry. Plus, the shipping is great, they don't even try to sell you added accessories on the phone, and with the DVXUser discount, it's not any worse than these other stores that will charge you up the ass for shipping and try and try to sell you added accessories to up the cost.

I just got off the phone with my sales rep from EVS and I can honestly say its the greatest phone order experience I've ever had (and that includes ANYTHING I've ever ordered over the phone). I would support EVS again before even thinking about saving $50-60 bucks and having to deal with a hassle...

Buy with EVS, you won't regret it!!!

Sorry about posting this "customer testimonial" of mine, but after weeks of headaches from the other bullshit places out there, I was soooo relieved to finally get my DVX ordered. The 3 day shipping was only $20 and he guaranteed me it was going out today so that I would get it Thursday at the latest.

Come Thursday I will probably be taking work off!!

I bought mine local (and I really really like the place I bought it from--great and incredibly knowledgeably sales people). I must admit, however, the best buying experience I've ever had was with EVS.

I bought a mic (I won't say which one or how much it cost me because that would be wrong, but suffice to say it was only 7 dollars more including two day shipping across the country than the price the audio store my friend works for buys the mic for at wholesale.) Not only did they ship 2 day, they shipped 2 day late in the day AFTER they usually shipped. The item came packed incredibly well and right on time.

Honestly, I have no idea how they offered such a low price and shipped so quickly and so cheaply, but next time I need something, that will be one of the first places I look. (That and my local stores, just because it's good to support local businesses. And I can play with the sdx900 or ogle the varicam.)

Anyhow, buy your dvx there above any other online merchant.

I agree. Not only are they easy to deal with, but I needed a rush delivery for a job and they took care of me. They will be my first option from now on.

Hey guys, just checking my favorite site in the whole world while I'm doing a documentary in France. ;D

This project has been incredible, I have been running around interviewing and filming WWII Normandy invasion veterans. I got great footage of all the meetings that just took place in Normandy, France, and was in tears as the veterans recounted their horrific experiences while invading the beaches on D-Day.

Everything was shot on, guess what, the venerable DVX and 100A. Don't leave home without one. I will post photos of the DVX in action when I get back.

Well, I will be back in the office next week, and I look forward to serving my favorite customers world-wide!
