I am shooting classical concerts this year and my lonely 170 is going to look sad. The best workflow fit is obviously another 170 and I may go with that BUT I would love a 20X zoom.
One possibility is a Schneider teleconverter but I haven't been able to find enough good stuff about its use to be confident. (Too top heavy, lighting stuff, etc) Anybody using it on their 170 with great success?
Another way maybe could be a different camera with a 20x zoom, but I would be real worried about post problems. Anybody using camera combinations with success in post, I'd love to hear from you. (I shoot generally in 720Pn) ($$$ are a mounting issue and I'd consider even a consumer camera if it could do the job - not likely but maybe somebody's making it work?)
