Buy AF-100 from the UK?

[Sindety]

The Euro is down and the thought hit me, "maybe i could buy it from some place in the UK?" Any one know any production houses, or Film equipment retailers in the UK that would cary the AF-100 if any?

Just goggle 'AF101 UK' and dealers will appear. My camera is coming from ProActive...but there are plenty of others. However are you sure you won't be charged some import duty as it comes in? If i buy from say the US there's always a VAT charge added...plus the carriage costs.

Try CVP: www.creativevideo.co.uk, they are selling at £3400 GBP + VAT and have free stock available first thing in the new year.

Unfortunately, the UK uses Pounds Sterling, not Euros (pain in the ass whenever I go to other European countries - the UK always has to be different!) Maybe you could try from a store in Ireland, though?
