Burton DSLR bag

This bag has been around for years. I do not own one but worked for a time at REI and several of my customers raved about it. This bag was designed for the photographers that do all of the marketing photos for Burton. Serious pros that need convenience, weather protection and maybe some style. Dakine used to make one but I can not find a link.

Looks pretty small...

That is kind of the point. This is not for carrying your gear 3 blocks down a city street it is designed for more rugged applications were size, load distributions and protection from the elements is vital.

Badass, thanks so much! I ordered Two. One for me and one for my Other Videographer. Been looking at this bag for a while and never pulled the trigger. Price was too good not to get it!

I see, that makes sense.
Since coming across this post I've read a couple of reviews. I'm not sure if this one is the Pro version or not (I don't think it is) but the non-pro version is supposed to have waist straps that are too high to be comfortable- some people have said that it was a deal breaker. I'd like to see if anyone here also has had such experiences with it.

Not a fan of this bag. Tried it and Dakines DSLR bags many times. The material(nylon) is way too flimsy for me. That's a good price though.
I use the very unique Naneu Alpha L pro.

Thanks for the link. I've been sort of looking for that bag for a few years. I'm now $100 poorer (they had some rad t-shirts). I'll let everyone know how it is.

Bag came in the mail today. It looks pretty good. It's not unavailable quality, but it's not going to fall apart any time soon. I wouldn't pay $135 for it, but at $40, its a great deal. It doesn't scream "Photo Bag!" either, which is a plus.

The camera compartment is removable. It even has it's own handle and shoulder strap. That was a surprise. :) It looks like it will be just about perfect for a small peli case.

Over all, pretty stoked on the bag. If anyone on the fence needs any questions answered, feel free to ask me.

Thanks again to the OP.

Just received my bag. I love it. Has tons of extra pockets, and the place where the DSLR and accessories goes is removable which makes it perfect for indoor shoots where I may need to move around but I don't want to lug the entire bag. The part where the snowboard is supposed to attach is perfect for strapping on my shoulder mount. Overall I give this bag a 8/10. Only reason I don't give it a 10 is its pretty bulky, which is good and bad. All depends on what you want to carry and where you shoot.

wow got mine last week and it is absolutely cavernous! I could lose gear in this thing. It easily fit all my stuff with pockets to spare. What a great solution.

Thanks to whoever shared this.

I loaded it up with everyting and a laptop, and strapped my shoulder rig to the back. (probably a good 35 lbs worth) and after closing the waist and shoulder straps it nicely distributed hte weight. I oculd walk around carrying it for a while without hurting my back.

i love it.
