Hey everyone, I'm new to the DVX and this forum. I recently bought a Bullet cam / Lipstick cam to hook into my DVX.

I know that I could probably find the information on this forum, but I am kind of in a rush so please don't just tell me to search or flame me. I'd appreciate any help you can offer.

I need to know how to connect it to the DVX?
the cam has AV cables and when I plug them into the DVX in record mode, it still uses the DVX lens instead of the bullet lens thats in the Video in...

When I swith it to play mode, The LCD shows the view from the bullet lens, but I'm not able to record...

I need to know how to record using the bullet lens into the DVX. Are there any menu settings I need to change in order to make that happen? please let me know.

This is what you have to do,
Hold the VCR button in the press the vcr rec. button.
to stop it from recording you have to press the stop button on the VCR control knob instead of pressing the record button again.

Thanks, I knew it would be something simple...

If you need to do this again in the future you are way better off getting a cheap small camcorder, the lipstick cams are only 520 lines res max anyway, I have one rigged up in a camelback to a sony pc330 with the lanc controller and the cam being the only parts out of the backpack. Got a small pelican case inside the pack to protect the cam and the lipstick cam's battery pack.
