building brackets.

how do you guys go about building braces for your cameras, especially for driving shot where the camera is outside the car, looking inside.

Re: building brackets.

I bought a milling machine last month that seems to work rather well considering its not CNC..

Re: building brackets.

Quality car mounting can be expensive and complex, or it can be really simple: www.cinekinetic.com sells the CineSaddle, basically a bean bag with hooks & straps for mounting to the car. The beans do an absolutely amazing job of isolating the camera from vibration -- you can do a rock-steady car shot with this thing. Expensive for what it is, yes -- but considering you'll be trusting your $3400 camera to it, the price seems reasonable.
