Budget wireless kit?

I'm looking for something that has 2 channels and good sound. I have no idea which brands are better than others, plus I'm unfamiliar with most of the terminology used in the descriptions of these mics. What are some things I should look for when shopping for a wireless kit?

Wireless is never an area to cheap out on. Sennheiser G2/G3, Lectrosonics, Zaxcom are the brands most recomended here.

Senn runs roughly $500 per channel, plus the cost of a decent lav. Lectro and Zax run several thousand / channel.
Audio Technical has this package that I assume would be decent, though again the stock lavs are probably not great.

If you're looking for cost effective, I can vouch for the Sennheiser G2 set up. Make sure you read the manual to get the settings right. I also recommend their MD 42 handheld mic for use with the plug on transmitter. Check out the EW 100 ENG kit for value. You can build on that.

You would stil need two Wireless kits since the ENG has both a bodypack and butt plug transmitter but only on receiver... DO NOT ORDER BAND C< D OR E thay are not legal in the USA!!!!!!!!

A or B Band Only!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And G band on G3 (between A and B) - this is OK for the USA.
