I'm helping a church plant with their media stuff, and their budget is extremely limited. I'm trying to find a decent tripod that won't break the bank for recording sermons. They're probably going to be using a Panasonic G6 + 80-200mm Nikon zoom (the old vintage kind...). They need the long zoom because of how far away they have to set up the tripod.
Any advice on cheap tripods? They'll obviously need a smooth pan function... tilting will be locked down, but they'll have to track with the pastor as he goes from side to side.
I've heard good things about these cheaper Benro Tripods: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/896849-REG/Benro_a2573fs6_A2573F_SERS_2_AL.html
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
