I recently picked up an emotimo PT which is an inexpensive moving time lapse camera rig that does pan and tilt. One of the really cool things about the emotimo PT is the way you can program it in the field using a Wii controller. Out of the box you can be up and shooting a motorized pan and tilt / motion control scene in just minutes. The guy who engineered the emotimo PT is really cool - helped me out with a few things along the way and overall I think this motion control rig is a really good deal for around $500 bucks. Obviously it isn't one of those multi-thousand dollar rigs, but it does just about eveything they do for way, way less. Check 'em out here: http://www.emotimo.com
