I use the slightly older w model that doesnt have the hd-sdi on board and really really loved it with my HVX. Am currently selling it if you're interested as I've sold the HVX and dont have much use for it...

Waveform and the ability to easily calibrate it and trust its colors and exposures was a lifesaver many times. Of course great for focusing too especially if using a 35mm adapter.
 
I'm thinking the same thing Jeff..... those are good reasons to invest in equipment like this.
