Which is the most affordable ? are there any firewire solutions .
Just wanna be able to see my 720pHD footage on my BT-LH1700W when I`m editing .
Are there any other solutions ?
 
wim....don't stress yourself out.
You have a SDI monitor already (the expensive part).
Buy a decklink hd plus card and you will be able to view virtual all video formats, as well as have the option to capture / edit from any SDI video deck.

The only firewire solution is a DVCPRO HD deck....and thats WAY much more than a capture card.
 
I was a little worried about the connections .
I have seen the card on their website , and was wondering which input to use on my monitor ?
