Brown Tint Color in My Videos Just Showed Up

I haven't uploaded an actual video yet, but I did find one that has similar problems as mine and I'll list below in a moment.

One day, I was in my office shooting video and then all of a sudden the screen just went brown... a heavy brown tint just showed up on the screen. During playback of the video all of the vibrant colors just went completely dull and brownish... here is an example, but mine was darker and we shot in a brightly lit room:

Any idea of what would cause this? We didn't change anything, we were shooting for about 20 minutes and the screen just instantly changed colors.

Thanks!

Well, seeing that all the image affecting stuff on the camera is computer controlled, my guess is that something went corrupt. No such thing as a computer that's immune to this.

1. The LCD screen is hosed.
2. The settings are haywire - try resetting everything to factory defaults and see if it goes back to normal. (there's a button somewhere that does this.)

If it's in the footage, I'd have to guess something went kaplooey in the camera, and it's not a settings fix.

Dang.... something I didn't want to hear :badputer:

Thanks for your input, it's appreciated... One more anomaly I just noticed. When I got outside and open iris to F16 and white balance, everything looks absolutely perfect, but when I come back inside, the brown tint is seen in monitor (and output footage as well).

I'm going to try and reset back to factory settings and see what happens.

Thanks to you both!
