So... during my last shoot I suppose I over tightened the control for adjusting the fluid-ball head and now its broken.... it doesn't look broken - I just can't seem to reattach the head to the tripod, and all the oil in the ball and such is exposed, there seems to be a smaller ball inside that the rail screws into but I haven't had any luck.
Anyone have any ideas on how much this would cost to repair? And who could do it? I live in Anchorage, but I'll be in San Francisco to shoot some documentary footage. How long do you think it would take them to fix it?
