Hey y'all, I was wondering if anyone could help me with this... I broke the mic off of my DVX, and it is dangling by a ribbon that looks as though it is undamaged and still entirely attached. I did a quick search of the forums and found two threads gthat appear to be regarding a similar issue.

I guess I was just wondering if anyone had any tips for fixing this, as I can't send it away for repair as I have some shooting to do. In the other threads, people recommended unscrewing the two horizontal screws and somehow pushing everything back in. I tried this but had some trouble as the screws were on so tight that they were starting to strip. This is my first time trying to fix anything on my camera and I'm a bit nervous that I might make the situation even worse. Can anyone give me some suggestions or a more detailed explaination of what to do? Thanks so much for your time!!
