Broken LCD :(

I've searched and I'm unable to find accurate info about the cost of repair for a broken lcd screen on my hvx 200. The display on the lcd needs to be replaced, do any of you guys know a average cost of a repair? thanks

I payed € 600 Euro in Austria for the LCD. It´s a HPX 171.

I replaced my lcd at Speciialized Communications on a HVX200 for around a $1000.00.

I know someone, who can replaced it for $350 (only in NYC - walk-in only)

Hey houstonvidkid,

The majority of that cost is the part. Then you have some labor. Either way, its in your best interest to go to an Authorized Service Center for this repair. It will save you many headaches in the future.

okay thanks guys, Im pretty sure its just the display screen that is broken, not the entire part. So DJDECAY what you're saying is that i can somehow just get the screen from somewhere instead of paying $1000 to replace the whole thing?
