Broken Handle Zoom

Today I was helping out somone with their shoot, in which we are using all my equipment :undecided and something bad happened. So I/We (me and the director) are setting up the shot, and I'm using the handle zoom because the director wanted to have a zoom in the shot. So I'm using the handle zoom and the director who doesnt really know anything about the dvx cranks the manual zoom and now the handle zoom doesnt work on that setting. Anything I can do to fix that....auto zoom still works, just not the second handle zoom speed. I'm really pretty annoyed

Have you checked all three of the handle zoom settings? It's possible to set the middle zoom selection to off through the menu.

I checked all three, and 2 doesnt work. 1 and 3 do work

Then look into your menu. Go to 3. SW MODE > HANDLE ZOOM > L/M/H

It should work.
