Broken DVX100a

So I have a DVX100a at a repair shop right now and if I get a decent offer i'm just going to take it back and sell it.

It seemed to work fine but would not focus. I then attempted to fiddle with the lens assembly and it lost power. The power issue has been fixed, but the main ribbon in the focus assembly is missing. I actually have 2 focus assemblies as I bought another one used, but it had the same ribbon issue...

So if anyone wants to shoot me an offer...I'm looking to get rid of it.

I have never sold anything on here but I have sold many items on forums.skateperception.com (which is another camera based site, just like this) and many people can vouch for me. (I have about 15 people on my "legit list" which is people who I have dealt with who have delt with me that can confirm my "legit"ness)

I also have good feedback on amazon.com and ebay...
 
He hasn't given me an estimate yet, I don't even know if he's checked it out really yet. I sent in 2 DVX's and we're still dealing with the first. I was going to use the money from selling the broken one to fix the other one.

well that fell through. they wont have the money for 3 weeks...so if anyone else is interested...still available
 
It can't be focused manually, I know that the teeth on the focus ring is out of alignment.

another offer pending but i think it will fall through
 
a sketchy guy from craigslist contacted me offering to fix it...but i dont feel comfortable handing my camera over to a random craigslist scammer.

so someone buy this !
