broken dvx

I recently fell with my camera and smashed the lcd screen to pieces, my lens ripped off the thread and focus ring and my eye cup was destroyed. The actual camera turns on and everything and you can see the body still works. The little piece of glass in the eye cup broke out as well so looking through it, it is very blurry. I am going to try and sell the body for someone who could use some parts. does anyone have any idea how much i should ask for it? thanks so much

What a sad story...that really bites! I think that putting it on eBay would give you what the market value is. I've seen broken dvx's go for more than I am willing to pay. Just make sure you're not scammed. Best of luck.
 
I've seen practically new used DVXs go for as little as $1000, so I wouldn't expect a broken one to pull in much more than $500
