I thought this was so interesting and loved the relationship between the story and the shooting technique. That was very cool. Great dialogue, too. I believed all of the actors. I haven't yet read through all of your thread to get the lowdown on how you planned and executed this, but definitely will at some point -- great work.

Just finally getting the time to copy the notes I compiled in a Word doc while watching the shorts:

What’s my problem … a new winner so far?! I’ll definitely have to go back & watch these top ones to try & rescore perhaps, but so far this was flawless in many ways. A truly scary film, for me, as it dealt with things I believe to be real, specifically playing with the spiritual world, something not to be taken lightly. The continuously roving camera was PERFECT, and I have no idea how they did it, unless cutting with the quick blackouts, but they made this seems like just one take. Incredible for both the camera & editing in that case. The makeup was also great with that regard as the holes with blood (or horns, I was confused?) kept evolving. The only spot it started losing me was near the very end, as it got so dark I couldn’t really tell what was supposed to be going on, and the guy just kept saying he was the controller … wanted to hear something new after a bit, specifically near the end. Phenomenal job overall, however.
