Broken Camera Help!

So I was recording myself playing piano with my Canon SX130 on a little tripod, when it somehow lost balance and fell about 3 feet to the floor. The lens was obviously out so thats what it landed on... Nothing on the outside appears to be broken (glass, shell, etc), but when I try to turn it on, it starts making a clicking noise like the lens is stuck or something. I'm kind of depressed now because I have no way of buying a new one (my family is basically broke at the moment) and I'm not sure how much it would cost to send it in to Canon to get it repaired. Is it possible to fix it somehow myself or does it absolutely need to be done by a professional? Any help would be MUCH appreciated...

Chances are it would cost more than it's worth to fix. Your better off finding a used hv30 or something cheap to replace it with. Gotta weight down those tripods, it happens all the time.

Thanks for replying! But the thing is I'm gonna need it for the photography aspect, not so much the video... Does anybody have any experience with this? I would just like an estimate and for some reason when I tried calling the customer support number, a message replied saying that it was not allowed in my area or something like that. I tried an online thing and it didn't open, and I don't want to do the pay-for-service thing because I only want an estimate...

Another thing is, using another online service form, I was able to complete a repair ticket request with Canon. They said it was free because it was still under warranty. The thing is though, I thought that warranties only covered defects that came from the manufacturer. The very last thing it said was "In the unlikely event that any additional damage is found during the repair process due to... or impact (such as dropping the unit), a revised estimate will be sent to you for your review and authorization". I don't want to send it in if they're just going to figure out that it was broken because of me and not be able to get it back. I was thinking of taking into a local repair shop, but I'm just looking for the cheapest and most reliable solution. Thanks!
