Broken Battery Tabes, Part #VGP6237

I know the HVX had a problem with the battery tabs breaking off the camera, leaving the battery fitting loosely. Has anyone had this issue on the HMC150 as I have? I ordered a new part and was really hoping for an easy fix at home. I know it's always best to send your camera in but Im currently in HI (hi shipping rates) and my camera is no longer under warranty. Any advise on tackling this fix would be greatly appreciated. Update:

After I took out some screws on the back of the camera I saw that the battery case was going to be too difficult to detach for my skills. In order to remove this piece you would have to take off more than just some plastic parts; wiring was in the way and the SD card reader would have to be taken off too. I'll be shipping it off for repair now.
