Broken Battery For DVX

Hey everybody. My name is Angel and I was hoping somebody could help me out with a question. I was in my cinematography class today & i very stupidly dropped my DVX-100a, luckily it wasn't a big fall because I was close to the floor and the camera is working fine but the battery that was inserted at the time I dropped it sort of broke.

The plate thingie that connects into the camera sort unglued itself from the rest of the battery. I'm trying to put up the pictures to see if anybody can tell me if I can fix it or if it's gone for good.

I appreciate any help I can get. Thank you.

I was just looking up batteries online & getting a new battery isn't that much. I remember when I first bought the dvx a few years ago it cost a lot more. I see a few that cost between $20-$30. But still if anybody thinks I can have this one repaired & save myself a couple of bucks let me know. Thanks.

I don't know how you can fix that but
if you can't fix it and end up trowing it away. let me know.
I might be interested in that battery and I can pay you too.

lol ryvvac...what would u use it for? try to fix it? maybe Angel should take u up on taht and use the $$ toward the new battery

yeah, I've been looking for used battery's and altho it's broken, I thought I'll take the chance and try fixing it
