Broke my DVX100B today! Where to get it fixed quick!

My LCD screen broke off my DVX100B. It was on a tripod on a driveway. I went to the car to get my mic and then heard a crash. The wind blew it over!

The LCD screen is broken, loosely attached to the camera. The camera actually still seems to work OK, except for the LCD screen.

How can I get it fixed? And any guesses on how much it will cost?

I live in Western Massachusetts.

Luckily, I have two cameras, and had the second camera at the shoot, so I was able to complete the job today. But I would like to use the second camera for a video shoot in 10 days.

Help!

In my limited research, I've gotten one quote of $700 from one repair place, and one for $488. Considering the camera is worth about $1000, I think it doesn't make sense to get it fixed. I'm going to try to use it as a second camera, since it still seems to work OK. I may get an external monitor like the Proaim (LCD-003) 7" LCD Monitor, currently advertised for $129.

I just feel sad that a simple mistake has basically totaled my favorite camera. :(

On another note, I was logging and capturing the footage from the camera this morning, and it turned out that the camera was recording when it fell. There's a great view of the sky as it goes down. No satisfying crash though, because the internal mic was turned off.

The camera was on when it fell over. Notice the horrible audio. I couldn't figure out why the wireless mic worked fine for my voice, but had a lot of interference when the client used it. I finally figured out later it was because the client had his cellphone in one pocket, and the transmitter in his other pocket. Arrgh! This was a big learning day for me.
