Britek Focus-Control lamps vs reg

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Britek's (through Rostronics) Focus-Control 600w lamps.

I'm looking at purchasing a number of the 650w regular lamps, but now that they have the focus-control upgrades, I'm curious. Has anyone worked with the FC 600w's? Of course focus control is great, but how well does it function on these lights? Is it worth the money to upgrade on these lamps?

They are really good. They don't have as wide of a focus range as a fresnel, but they're really good considering the price.
 
The focus control range on my Britek 600 is about 2.5:1. Not as great a range as a Lowel Omni, but certainly useful. The lights take a 7" scrim/screen for further lighting tweaks.
Really good product for the money.

Anything in particular you don't like about them? Have you used redheads before or the Arri lights that look similiar? I'm considering a couple of Briteks is why I ask.
